On 23rd November 2014, CCCT and Lanxi Commerce Bureau successfully held “Lanxi Denim Sourcing Meeting” in Zhejiang Province. Mr. Zhang Xian, Secretary General of CCCT, Mr. Lu Xianlong, Vice Mayor of Lanxi and Mr. Ye Xiaohu, Director-General of Lanxi Commerce Bureau attended the meeting. Over 80 enterprise representatives also attended.
Vice Mayor Lu Xianlong first gave an introduction about the development of Lanxi’s textile and apparel industry. Lanxi holds over 1500 textile and apparel companies and is the biggest denim production and export base in China. Secretary General Zhang Xian and Ms. Ma Ying, Director of the International Relationship Department of CCCT introduced the development of textile and apparel trade and CCCT’s role. They express CCCT is always ready to provide information, consulting services, and meeting/exhibition services to companies so as to build a platform for communication and to strive for stronger development. Representatives from Japanese fabric society shared information about Japanese and international market and Hong Kong Li&Fung Corporation introduced its purchasing activities.
After the speeches, company representatives from all over China directly meet with their local counterparts and paid a visit to major textile companies like Sheng Hua textile and Jin Suo Holding Group afterwards.
This sourcing meeting has been greatly welcomed by enterprises. In the future, we will continue to cooperate with local commercial bureaus and create more cooperation opportunities as such.
